A Little Bit About Me in the 3rd Person
Elizabeth Clare is an LA creative, but a Midwest native. She grew up in Milwaukee and developed true love for music early on in life, specifically jazz. Her studies lead her to Iowa and then up to Nova Scotia, where she earned a couple of degrees focusing on Jazz Voice and Composition. She also learned plenty of life lessons along the way and started practicing mindfulness as a form of honest discipline and deepening the relationship to her craft. After appreciating the gentle pace of life and immense growth as an artist in Halifax, Elizabeth moved to Chicago to exercise her creative process as an actor. Training at Second City ignited her improvisational skills in a fascinating way and it compelled her to follow the thread all the way to Los Angeles.
Having a strong background as a jazz musician allows her to bring a sense of curiosity to her work as an actor. Elizabeth's favorite thing is finding the magic where structure and creativity meet, which includes her position as Ally Advocate at a mental health non-profit called NoStigmas.
Elizabeth trains Taekwondo with Master Simon Rhee (currently holds a Red Belt) and loves baking delicious things, so she can throw a nice sidekick and make a mean strawberry shortcake!
She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, LA Conservatory, and Women in Film
